Fresh People are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of a global fresh produce business based in Dartford, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and highly successful operation working within the fresh produce supply chain, supporting the movement of product from packhouse through to customer. The role is fully site-based and includes working every other weekend.
The Role
Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Sales Team, Warehouse and Logistics teams, you will be responsible for coordinating inventory, forecasting, inbound logistics and product movement to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and accurately. This is a highly operational role requiring strong organisation, communication and analytical skills within a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing inventory, stock movements and distribution processes
• Coordinating inbound containers, transport, documentation and customs clearance
• Maintaining accurate customer forecasts and inventory records
• Liaising with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure correct pallet allocation and outloading preparation
• Supporting inventory control processes using Microsoft D365 and offline systems
• Working closely with sales, sourcing and operational teams to ensure supply volumes are achieved
• Monitoring changes relating to fruit size, pack formats, labels, country of origin and volume requirements
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise operational efficiencies
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and customers
• Assisting with the implementation of supply chain and sales SOPs and cross-functional processes
About You
• Previous experience within Supply Chain, Inventory or Logistics coordination
• Experience within Fresh Produce, Food Manufacturing or another perishable FMCG environment would be highly advantageous
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems would be beneficial
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Hours: Full-time, on-site – includes working every other weekend
