Fresh People are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a successful business within the Fresh Produce sector based in the Sittingbourne area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual with experience in Sales Administration, Customer Service or Supply Chain Coordination within Fresh Produce. Working within a busy commercial team, you’ll be responsible for processing customer orders, coordinating stock allocation, supporting the planning function and ensuring products are delivered accurately and on time.Key Responsibilities
- Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage daily stock allocation to meet customer demand.
- Coordinate transport bookings to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Liaise with customers regarding orders, stock availability and delivery schedules.
- Work closely with Planning, Operations and Logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are achieved.
- Monitor stock movements and maintain accurate ERP system information.
- Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Support production planning and order fulfilment activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure company procedures are followed.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience within the Fresh Produce industry.
- Experience in a Sales Administration, Customer Service, Order Processing or Supply Chain support role.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience processing customer orders and managing stock allocation.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (ERP/Prophet experience would be advantageous).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- The ability to prioritise workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
