Shifts: 28-day continental rotation ( working 14 days out of each 28) – 3 days on, 2 nights on, 5 off, 2 days on, 2 nights on, 5 off, 2 days on, 3 nights on, 4 off
Hours: 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am (12-hour shifts)

We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a leading UK manufacturer within the food and packaging industry based around the Aylesham Canterbury location

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Support and deliver engineering projects aimed at improving production efficiency and reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement effective technical solutions.
- Work on electrical installations up to 430V, PLCs, and control systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- Qualified in Engineering (NVQ Level 3+ or apprenticeship trained).
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
