Tax Partner
Location: South East / London
Salary: £130,000 – £200,000DOE + Equity
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Partner to join a high-growth, private equity-backed professional services firm entering a significant expansion phase across the South East and Central London.
This is a pivotal leadership role, offering the chance to shape and scale the firm’s tax offering while contributing to an ambitious growth strategy driven by both organic development and acquisitions.
The Opportunity
As Tax Partner, you will take full ownership of the tax function, driving both strategic direction and operational excellence. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to expand market presence, build client relationships, and develop a high-performing tax team.
This role offers genuine influence at Partner level, alongside the opportunity to benefit from long-term value creation through equity participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the firm’s tax offering across corporate, personal and advisory services
- Drive business development and win new client relationships
- Manage and develop a portfolio of high-value clients (SMEs, OMBs and corporates)
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory on complex matters
- Collaborate with fellow Partners to deliver integrated client solutions
- Support acquisitions, including due diligence and integration of tax teams
- Build, mentor and lead a high-performing tax team
- Contribute to overall firm strategy and growth plans
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards
About You
- CTA and/or ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Currently operating at Senior Manager, Director or Partner level
- Strong technical expertise across corporate and/or private client tax
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Commercially driven with a strategic mindset
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
- Experience in a high-growth or acquisitive environment is advantageous

Package
- Base Salary: £150,000 – £200,000
- Bonus: Performance-related
