Fresh People are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of a well-established global fresh produce business based in north Kent.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, international food supply business where you will play a key role in coordinating product flow, managing inventory and supporting sales and operational teams to ensure customer demand is met efficiently.

Working closely with sourcing, sales, logistics and warehouse teams, the successful candidate will oversee fruit inventory, coordinate logistics and manage forecasting accuracy from packhouse through to customer delivery.The Role

As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will act as the central link between sales, supply chain and operations to ensure inventory, logistics and customer requirements are managed efficiently.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing fruit inventory levels and coordinating product flow from packhouse through to customer delivery
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting forecasting accuracy
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics including container movements and transport planning
  • Liaising with warehouse teams to ensure correct pallet allocation and product preparation for dispatch
  • Managing storage, packing and distribution processes
  • Supporting the implementation of ERP and inventory systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Monitoring supply volumes and ensuring customer requirements are met
  • Communicating product requirements including pack formats, grades, origin and volumes
  • Supporting the development of Supply Chain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency

About You

We are looking for a highly organised and analytical supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced food or fresh produce environment.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics or inventory management
  • Experience within fresh produce, food manufacturing or other perishable goods sectors highly desirable
  • Experience using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 beneficial)
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills with ability to analyse operational data
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving operational environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
