Qualified Accountant (2+ Years PQE)
Location: Canterbury, Kent
Working Pattern: Full-time, office-based
The Opportunity
We are supporting a well-established and expanding professional services firm in Kent in their search for an experienced Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualified experience.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a client portfolio, lead assignments, and play a key role in supporting the firm’s continued growth.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
- Leading on statutory accounts preparation and review
- Overseeing audit assignments where applicable
- Acting as a trusted advisor, providing commercial and financial insight
- Reviewing work of junior team members and supporting development
- Supporting senior leadership with client growth and business initiatives
About You
- ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualified experience within practice
- Strong technical background across accounts and/or audit
- Proven ability to manage client relationships
- Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
- Experience mentoring or reviewing junior staff desirable
