Role – Probate / Private Client Lead
Fresh People are recruiting a Probate and Estates professional to join an established professional services and advisory firm in Faversham.
This is a broad private client opportunity covering probate and estate administration alongside wills, trusts, inheritance tax and wider estate planning.
The firm is open-minded on background and seniority. A qualified solicitor would be particularly welcome, although Chartered Legal Executives and experienced probate specialists from an accountancy practice environment will also be considered.The Role
You will work directly with private clients and families across a varied range of matters, including:
- Probate and estate administration
- Applications for Grants of Probate
- Inheritance Tax reporting
- Wills and estate planning
- Trusts and succession matters
- Estate accounts and distributions
- Liaising with executors and beneficiaries
- Managing matters through to completion
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced probate professional
- Ideally 2+ years’ relevant probate/private client experience
- Strong estate administration experience
- Exposure to wills, trusts and IHT would be advantageous
- Confident dealing directly with clients, executors and beneficiaries
- Professional, empathetic and highly organised
- Keen to develop broader private client expertise
STEP qualification is not essential, and the firm is happy to consider someone with strong potential who is still developing their broader private client experience. This would particularly suit someone looking for a broader private client role within a collaborative advisory environment, with the opportunity to develop beyond pure probate administration.
