Role – Head of HR

Fresh People are partnering with a well-established, independent accountancy and advisory firm in East Kent known for delivering high-quality tax, audit, and business advisory services.

As part of their continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Head of HR to establish and lead a new HR advisory offering to their client base.

This is not a traditional internal HR role, this is an opportunity to build a revenue-generating service line, working directly with clients to support their people strategy, compliance, and HR frameworks.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Establish and lead the firm’s HR advisory service offering
  • Provide expert HR support to clients, including:
    • Employment contracts and documentation
    • HR policies and procedures
    • Employee relations and case management
    • Compliance with employment legislation
  • Act as a trusted adviser to clients on HR and people matters
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the existing client base
  • Support Partners in building and scaling the HR service line
  • Develop processes, frameworks, and best practice HR solutions
  • (Secondary) Oversee internal HR where required

What We’re Looking For

  • Professionally qualified – minimum CIPD Level 5 (Level 7 preferred)
  • Strong experience in HR advisory, consultancy, or senior HR leadership roles
  • Proven ability to work in a client-facing / commercial environment
  • Experience across:
    • Employment law
    • HR policy and compliance
    • Employee relations
  • Comfortable with business development and growing a service offering
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build something new
