Finance Business Partner – Retail Account (Hybrid Working)
£50,000–£65,000 DOE + Car Allowance + Bonus
Fresh People are currently recruiting for an exciting Finance Business Partner opportunity for a Fresh Produce business supporting a high-profile UK retailer account.
This is a highly visible, commercially focused finance role where you will work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders, providing insight, analysis and strategic support to drive performance and profitability.
We are open to both fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA) and Qualified by Experience (QBE) professionals who have operated in fast-moving product environments such as Fresh Produce, Food Manufacturing, and FMCGThe Role
As Finance Business Partner, you will:
- Act as the key finance lead for a major retail account
- Deliver robust forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting
- Provide meaningful variance analysis and commercial insight
- Partner closely with Commercial and Procurement teams to maximise margin and identify risks/opportunities
- Support trading reviews with clear financial commentary
- Analyse product performance, pricing, rebates and cost movements
- Strengthen financial controls and governance processes
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting and processes
This role requires strong analytical capability combined with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders outside of finance.About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is CIMA / ACCA qualified or QBE with strong commercial experience
- Has operated within Fresh Produce, Food Manufacturing, FMCG or Manufacturing environments
- Understands the dynamics of fast-moving products and retailer margin pressures
- Is highly analytical and confident working with large data sets
- Has strong Excel capability
- Can communicate financial insight in a clear, commercial way
- Is comfortable challenging and influencing non-finance stakeholders
