We are working with a high-growth, private equity-backed professional financial services firm entering an exciting phase of expansion across the South East and London.
As part of this growth, a newly created Business Development Manager role has been established within the firm’s central Growth team. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, including the Chief Growth Officer, to drive new client acquisition and play a key role in scaling the business.
This is not a traditional BD role it offers genuine scope to influence strategy, build long-term client relationships and contribute directly to the firm’s ambitious growth journey.
The Role
Working as part of a dedicated Growth function, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities across targeted sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing lead generation strategies in collaboration with marketing
- Identifying and engaging prospective clients across key markets
- Building and nurturing relationships with clients, introducers and industry contacts
- Working closely with Partners to convert opportunities into long-term client relationships
- Supporting the sales process with insight, materials and coordination
- Managing and maintaining a structured pipeline through CRM systems
- Aligning outreach activity with wider marketing campaigns
- Achieving and exceeding agreed business development targets
About You
We are looking for a commercially driven and relationship-focused individual who thrives in a growth environment.
You will have:
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
- Ideally experience within professional services, finance or a consultative sales environment
- Strong prospecting and pipeline-building capability
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- The ability to understand and articulate complex client needs
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activity

Additional Information
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00am – 5:30pm)
- Competitive salary dependent on experience
