Graduate – Finance & Payroll Admin

Looking to build a career in Payroll, Finance or Administration?

We’re looking for an organised, analytical and detail-focused individual to join a busy Payroll team supporting one of the UK’s leading recruitment businesses.

You don’t need payroll experience we’re far more interested in finding someone with excellent administration skills, strong Excel ability and the right attitude to learn. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone with office administration experience looking to develop a long-term career.

Working within a fast-paced recruitment environment, you’ll become part of a supportive finance team responsible for processing payroll for thousands of temporary workers each week. Accuracy, organisation and attention to detail are essential, but if you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems and keeping everything running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the weekly processing of high-volume payroll
  • Working with large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel
  • Importing and checking timesheet information
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Assisting with holiday pay calculations and payroll amendments
  • Investigating and resolving payroll queries
  • Preparing payroll documentation and reports
  • Ensuring all payroll information is accurate and completed to deadlines
  • Providing administrative support to the wider Payroll and Finance team

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (essential)
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident working with numbers and data
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to prioritise workload in a busy environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • A recent graduate in Finance, Business or Accounting would be welcomed, although this is not essential
  • Must have a driving licence and access to a car to reach the site as not on PT route
