Quality Controller

  • Shift Pattern: Nights Monday – Friday, 9pm–6am

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Controllers to join our clients team a leading Fresh Produce business . You will be responsible for assessing and reporting product quality from intake to dispatch, managing ripening regimes, and ensuring our high standards are met across all quality processes. Days and nights available as multiple roles

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out quality checks and reporting across inloading, ripening, production, and dispatch.
  • Manage ripening programmes and monitor performance against quality and technical KPIs.
  • Conduct shelf life and accelerated ripening trials, producing detailed reports.
  • Highlight grower-level quality performance and guide packhouse staff on product handling.
  • Support stock reassessments to maximise returns through effective stock rotation.
  • Assist with technical ripening trials and prepare customer/analysis samples.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a fresh produce or quality control role.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under tight schedules.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Computer literate, ideally with Microsoft D365 experience.
  • Commitment to accuracy, thoroughness, and getting it right first time.
