Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a new opportunity in the fresh produce sector? We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a leading business based near Sevenoaks, Kent.
This is a permanent role working on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, 2:00pm – 2:00am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and move fresh produce safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring all stock is checked and accounted for.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in line with company procedures.
- Carry out stock rotation and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure products are stored in the correct conditions to maintain quality and shelf life.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with health & safety requirements.
- Work closely with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, ideally with fresh produce or food products.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
- A flexible, reliable, and team-focused approach.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards (training can be provided).
- Ability to work effectively on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.
