Graduate – Technical Assistant
Our client is a well-established and fast-growing supplier of fresh produce to some of the UK’s best-known retailers. As part of their ongoing growth, they are looking to appoint a Graduate Technical Assistant to join their expanding Technical and Product Management team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about food, sustainability, and quality and looking to begin a long-term career in the technical side of the food and fresh produce industry.
The Role
Working alongside experienced Technical and Product Managers, you’ll play an active role in ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance standards are achieved. You’ll gain hands-on experience across supplier management, data analysis, and customer-facing technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Technical and Product Management team with product quality and compliance
- Maintain customer and supplier data, KPIs, and packaging specifications
- Monitor and report on product performance and quality trends
- Assist with product launches and seasonal transitions
- Visit growers and service providers to support quality assurance
About You:
- Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and data-handling skills (Power BI or AI knowledge desirable)
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills
- Passion for sustainability, innovation, and delivering quality produce
