About the Role:
As the QA Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring all products meet strict quality and safety standards. You’ll support both the technical and operational teams in maintaining site compliance with food safety regulations and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine quality checks and hygiene inspections
- Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and follow-up actions
- Maintain QA documentation including audits, traceability records, and complaints
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP, and BRC requirements
- Assist with internal training and awareness of food quality and hygiene protocols
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments on product specifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a QA or Technical role within the food sector (fresh produce, foodservice, or FMCG preferred)
- Sound knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP, and BRC standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Flexible approach to work with occasional shift or weekend cover if required
