At Fresh People we are currently recruiting for a Procurement Coordinator to join a Fresh Produce Leader within their commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in logistics, stock control, or supply chain support who is looking to develop their career in procurement.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support Commercial Managers with day-to-day coordination of the supply chain
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders through the ERP system (Prophet)
- Build and update supplier load plans to ensure timely deliveries
- Liaise with growers to confirm volumes, varieties, and arrival schedules
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock positions with logistics and planning teams
- Assist in maintaining master arrival data and seasonal performance reviews
- Prepare weekly pricing and costing models with attention to detail
- Process fruit cost invoices and prepare grower returns and finalisations
- Work collaboratively with commercial and IT teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Support weekend operations on a rota basis, providing key information across teams
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in logistics, stock control, or supply chain operations (fresh produce background desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Prophet is an advantage)
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within the procurement function
