The Person
Passionate about sustainability, compliance, and working with global supply chains.You’ll play a key role in supporting and delivering technical compliance and sustainability initiatives from ethical due diligence and food safety to monitoring environmental impacts and sustainability performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers to collate, review and file accurate due diligence documentation on internal and customer platforms.
- Monitor and report on compliance throughout the supply chain lifecycle.
- Manage daily chemical surveillance testing schedules for inbound produce.
- Conduct supplier recall and traceability exercises to support robust food safety practices.
- Maintain approved supplier lists for internal and customer use.
- Collate, review and analyse environmental data from suppliers, including metrics on food waste, carbon emissions, water usage, and sustainable farming certifications.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Food Science, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a similar scientific discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI.
- Experience working with online sustainability platforms and managing large datasets.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
