Are you an experienced Account Manager with a solid background in fresh produce? A market-leading fresh produce business based in Kings Hill is expanding its commercial team and looking for a confident, customer-focused individual to manage key UK retail accounts.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior role within a fast-paced, ever-changing sector, working closely with some of the UK’s biggest retailers. You’ll bring your existing produce knowledge to a dynamic commercial environment, helping drive performance, availability, and service excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking full responsibility for managing major retail accounts within the fresh produce sector
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with retail buyers and internal stakeholders
- Leading the commercial planning, forecasting, and delivery of key categories
- Supporting and delivering customer-specific strategies and promotional plans
- Working closely with supply chain and technical teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries
- Analysing data and category performance to inform decisions and identify opportunities
- Supporting NPD and seasonal planning in line with customer needs and market trends
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience working in fresh produce account management
- Excellent commercial awareness with a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Confident communicator able to build rapport with both customers and internal teams
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid Excel and data-handling skills; familiarity with systems like Prophet or customer portals is an advantage
- A strong understanding of the retail landscape and the challenges of fresh produce supply
